After working on several shoots and fashion shows, KevinMurphy found that as the day progressed the models’ hair became heavy,dull and lifeless – and there were no styling products on the market that fulfilled his needs as an editorial stylist. With that in mind, he decided to create his own. Cue:KEVIN.MURPHY.Answering his own needs as a stylist, his eponymous brand developed products that were easy to use and crossed over to consumers perfectly.

A world-renowned stylist, Kevin Murphyhas graced the covers of all the major global print publications and directed hair teams for countless high profile fashion houses – all before creating his eponymous brand. After training at Vidal Sassoon in London, Kevin returned to Australia toestablish himself asasought-after stylist.He soon becamea regular contributor to AustralianVogueand evolved into theindustry as the go-to-guy for the ‘beach hair’ look.In 2007,the creativewas awarded the Australian Masters Award for his outstanding contributions to the profile of Australian Hairdressing worldwide.
